A distinctive know-how
At Genicad, we conduct finite element analyses (FEA) to test the performance of our own designs (internal projects) or to assess the reliability of our clients’ systems (external projects).
We boast extensive FEA expertise covering the aerospace, industrial, electronics, biomedical, civil, nuclear, automobile, domestic, environmental, and chemical sectors, among others:
- Structural analyses (e.g. linear, non-linear, geometric, material [plasticity, elasticity, etc.], and frictional)
- Dynamic analyses (e.g. transient, seismic, modal, frequency response, spectral response, and random vibration)
- Stress and durability analyses
- Thermal analyses (e.g. transient, conduction, convection, radiation, and phase change)
- CFD (computational fluid dynamics) analyses
- Design optimization analyses
- Multiphysics analyses (e.g. FSI [fluid-structure interaction], coupled physics)
Using the finite element analysis method, Genicad can:
- Analyze highly complex assembled structures by combining multiple materials under lifelike conditions to predict their behavior (e.g. how a bus reacts to very severe road conditions)
- Detect and correct defects that arise during equipment operation cycles
- Conduct stress and distortion tests for moving part assemblies
